Chinese and other Asian restaurants are sometimes one of the scariest restaurants for any Celiac or anyone on a medical gluten free diet to go to. Why? Two words.
Soy Sauce (and no, it’s not gluten free). About 80% of all Chinese and Asian dishes contains soy sauce.
But thankfully, many gluten free Chinese and Asian restaurant chains use a gluten free soy sauce in their dishes when requested. All you need to do is tell your server that you’re on a gluten free diet and they’ll be sure to use their gluten free sauces on your dish.
Unfortunately, this isn’t so easy at non-chained Chinese restaurants only because communication can sometimes be an issue. And honestly, it’s not often that you’ll find gluten free soy sauce at a local, non chain Chinese restaurants.
So if you’re on a medical gluten free diet, you should definitely stick with the chained restaurants. But that’s just my opinion.
Anyways, below, you’ll find a complete listing of all the gluten free Chinese and Asian restaurants that offers delicious gluten and wheat free dishes. Enjoy!

Wok & Roll is fabulous for gluten free food. I had fried rice and beef with broccoli. I have found this while traveling through Canada. This was listed on Find Me Gluten Free app.

Many a-1 ‘so will cook your dish with no soy sauce or msg if you ask them to so only the noodles and breaded items are off-limits. This chain is popular in south-western ontario, not sure where else
