I remember very clearly my first experience at Abuelo’s.
I was in Chandler, AZ and my uncle decided to take me and my family out to Abuelo’s.
And I must say, I was blown away.
Now let’s fast forward 7 years later.
I was on a college visit to Virginia Tech, when I discovered that there was a Abuelo’s in a nearby city called Roanoke, VA.
So we decided to go check it out.
I was not impressed.
Maybe I was just there at the wrong time or something, but the food just didn’t compare to the one in Arizona.
My guess is that maybe Mexican/Tex-Mex food just tastes better out in the Southwest.
Sounds stupid I know, but that’s just my guess.
Okay, so enough with my experiences, lets talk gluten-free.
As compared to the other Mexican restaurant gluten free menus, the Abuelo’s Mexican Food gluten free menu is the smallest.
Now this doesn’t take away from the food taste and overall restaurant. It’s just that the selection is not as plentiful as Don Pablos or Chevys Fresh Mex.
So with that being said, here’s the Abuelo’s Mexican Food Gluten Free Menu.
