Gluten Free Pizza Restaurants
Here are 16 gluten free pizza restaurants that I think you’ll love:
1. Pizza Fusion
Pizza Fusion is a pizzeria chain that focuses solely on creating the best pizza for everyone. So they did their research and sought out tasty alternatives that allowed individuals with food allergies, selective diets and digestive intolerances to enjoy the likings of Pizza Fusion.
2. Dominos Pizza
Not only do the smaller, more niche based pizzerias offer gluten free pizzas, so do the big boys. The only downside about Domino’s gluten free pizza is that it’s not recommended for anyone with a gluten allergy or Celiacs disease. Why? Way too much cross-contamination. However, this is a perfect pizza for anyone on a non-medical gluten free diet.

This eclectic casual pizza joint dishes out a killer gluten free thin crust pizza across all their stores in 16 states.
4. Extreme Pizza
Extreme Pizza dishes out a gluten free version of almost every single one of their signature pizzas. That’s sweet!

If their’s one thing that makes Picazzo the most unique gluten free pizza restaurant chain, it’s the fact that all their pizzas, pastas, and breads are gluten free by default. Cross contamination is almost non-existent.
6. Garlic Jims
Gourmet gluten free pizza is Garlic Jims specialty.
Fiiiigaaaarooooo. Figaro. Figaro. Figaro. Figaro…
8. Your Pie
According to one of my readers, Your Pie’s pizza is “great, buttery, and smooth.”
9. Godfather’s Pizza
Unlike all the restaurants on this list, except one, Godfather’s Pizza’s gluten free pizza is served “take n bake” style. Meaning that they’ll deliver you a pre-wrapped gluten free godfather’s pizza that you can bake at home.

10. Sam & Louie’s New York Pizzeria
When you order a pizza from here, please please please emphasize that you need a gluten free pizza.

13. BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse
A gluten free thin crust pizza is their specialty.

14. Uno’s Chicago Grill
The only downside to this gluten free pizza is that it’s not a gluten free version of their signature Chicago deep dish.

15. Pizza Pie Cafe
The one thing I like about Pizza Pie Cafe’s gluten free pizza is that you can order BBQ or marinera sauce instead of the typical pizza sauce.

16. California Pizza Kitchen
Although CPK doesn’t currently have gluten free pizzas on their menu now, they are testing them and should be unveiling them later this year, according to an email they sent me.

Il Vicino Wood Oven Pizza (ilvicino.com) has great GF pizza’s and flatbread sandwiches. Plus they don’t upcharge you as much for the GF.
The fact that they don’t upcharge for GF options is great. Thanks for the suggestion and url MJ!
Pieology is absolutely amazing gluten free! You build your own by picking your fresh toppings and it goes in to the pizza oven and comes out so crisp and hot and delish!!!!

In Skokie, Il “Father and Son’s Italian Kitchen” on Skokie Blvd. makes a terrific “personal” gluten-free thin crust pizza as well as gf pasta dishes, salads, brownie dessert and soft serve frozen yogurt.
That sounds mouth watering, Johnnie. Thanks for the suggestion!
Russo’s Coal Fired Kitchen and Russo’s New York Pizzeria are incredible in the huge selection of gluten free items they offer…. both pizza and pasta dishes. They are in several states. They have several delicious frozen pizzas sold in grocery stores, too. It’s seriously the best pizza I’ve ever had. Almost all their pasta sauces are gluten free already so they just serve whatever sauce you want on a very good al dente penne gluten free pasta. I’ve had so many of their sauces and several of their pizza’s and four of their frozen pizzas. I’ve not been disappointed once. 🙂 Here’s their webpage: http://nypizzeria.com/
Patricia, you need to stop, you’re making me hungry! Thanks for the webpage. I’m going to check them out 🙂

Puccini’s Smiling Teeth in Indiana and Kentucky.

Just had a pizza from Willow’s Pizza in Los Gatos, CA. They had four different types. I’m not Celiac but gluten free. Did not get sick or end up with an upset tummy. The pizza was FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome Yvette! Thanks for letting us know 🙂
BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse so far has the best GF pizza and to top it off.. GF Chocolate Chip Pizookie! It is HEAVEN!!
Brixx has a really good gluten free pizza too. I went to a location in Virginia, near D.C.
In Cincinnati, OH Larosa’s Pizza has a gluten free pizza at 8 of their locations and it is excellent. They also take great precautions to avoid cross contamination including cooking the pizza on it’s own foil pan, having the managers specially make the pizza and conveniently listing the gluten free ingredients.
I forgot to mention…they also offer Gluten free beer!!
Cottage Inn Pizza chain has gluten free pizza and cheesy bread. I tried both and found that the pizza was on the soggy side but the cheesy bread was awesome with the pizza sauce for dipping! Highly recommend it and it tastes just like regular cheesy bread!
Deliso Pizza, Gettysburg, PA. What a find! Gluten free pizza, spaghetti, ravioli, subs. Even a gluten free beer! Top it off with a gluten free chocolate chip cookie. Highly recommended.
Cosimo’s, Sarasota, FL, also best ever gluten free desserts!
This says 16 GF pizza restaurants that you think I’ll love, except you admit that one of them doesn’t even serve GF pizza yet, so you surely can’t have even tried it. Do you generally recommend, using the word “LOVE” no less, restaurants that you haven’t even tried? I was interested in your site and had even checked out the link on Amazon to your book, but now I trust nothing you say. As a celiac with severe sensitivity, I count on others who have actually been to places to let me know of their experiences. You’ve just landed yourself on my ‘fraud’ list. Congrats!
Pizza Ranch in MN has a separate kitchen area, pans, Condiments for making GF pizzas. Their cooks even put on new aprons and gloves to make them!
Ledo’s in Md rocks my world – HATED Uno’s; thought Domino’s was eeh.
I agree with you, Ledo’s is awesome. Love their GF pizza!!
Raquel Rocky Spinelli
Grotto’s in Delaware rocks their delicious 12 inch GF pizza, got mine with extra cheese and a coupon = $12!!
Wheat State Pizza is a small chain in Kansas that has an awesome gluten-free pizza. I think it’s comparable to Mellow Mushroom’s. YUM.
In the Chicago and suburbs Lou Malnati’s makes a gluten free crust that’s the best and they also make a crustless pizza. They rock!
Avalanche pizza in Athens, Ohio near Ohio University!
The Godzilla is the number one pizza in the USA and the gluten free pizza and subs are awesome
Otto in Boston
Mac’s Pizza Pub serves up the best pizza I have tried yet! It is provided by Sonny Marie’s. The only gluten free bakery that I support! Must try! Macs is in Clifton, Landen, and Fairfax.
Zio’s Pizza in Omaha, NE has gluten-free pizza. Rotella’s bakery (NE and surrounding areas, and online) sells an awesome GF crust you can buy frozen to take home and add your own toppings. Pizza Ranch in IA and NE has a good GF pizza. Had the Godfather’s GF pizza – never again. Not sure what the crust was made of, but – bleh. Just be certain to make sure at any pizza place that the toppings are GF. If they aren’t made in-house I wouldn’t trust them as many pre-mixes have wheat added as a thickener. Even some meat toppings have wheat in them.
Blaze Pizza multiple locations in Chicago. Great Gluten free choices made in separate area. Lots of choices.
Pizza Hut should be on this list because they make a decent pizza that is certified gluten free and okay for people with celiac to eat. Just to make sure, I tested one of their gf pizzas to 5 and 20 ppm of gluten and both tests came up negative, showing there was no gluten present. Check out the test here at http://www.foodtestnetwork.com/gluten_pizza_entries
Blaze Pizza’s gluten free crust is light years better than Pizza Fusion.
And, why in the world do you list CPK as “gluten free” and then admit that don’t have a product yet. How does that work? Were you just lazy?
back nine pizza and pub
