Zaxby’s Gluten Free Menu

Last updated on Jul 16, 2023 by Adam Bryan. These menus are unofficial meaning they may not be accurate and can change at any time.

Here’s the complete Zaxby’s gluten free menu.

Zaxby’s provides a few gluten-free choices, such as chicken wings and salads. It’s important to note that most of their menu contains gluten, and their website lacks detailed information about gluten-free options or food preparation. While they offer some safe options, cross-contamination may occur.

We suggest informing the staff about your gluten-free needs or food allergies before ordering. Despite limited options, Zaxby’s does have appealing gluten-free items on their menu.

So, are the wings and fries truly gluten free or are they made in the same fryer as the chicken strips, etc?

Not at my location….read they used separate fryers but after waiting for fresh chips they had breading pieces & regular fries mixed in.

I just went to Zaxby’s and they use a separate fryer for fries at ours. Nothing breaded goes into it.

The marinade on the grilled chicken has gluten.

No, actually is does not contain gluten. A big Whig for Zaxby’s says the grilled chicken does not contain gluten in the marinade. Furthermore, I asked to see the package it comes in and double checked all the ingredients and it indeed DOES NOT contain gluten!! YAY!!!

I ate dinner there yesterday. I ordered a house salad only to find that it had tons fried onions on it and in it. They were NOT listed on the drive thru menu. I guess I should have double checked (I will from now on!) Are these onions gluten free?

They are cross contaminated because of the chicken strips. I spoke with a manager in my area. Remember they also have fried mushrooms too. Worth checking though but not worth getting sick.

I am in the drive-thru at Zaxbys, and the lady said the fries use the same fryer as the breaded chicken… Their official allergen page indicated the fries are gluten free, but there is a note below indicating they may be fried in the same oil as other items…

Are the chicken wings gluten free? Are they fried in the same oil as the bread chicken fingers?
