Five Guys Gluten Free Menu (2023)

Last updated on Dec 23, 2022 by Adam Bryan. These menus are unofficial meaning they may not be accurate and can change at any time.

Five Guys Gluten Free Menu

Here is the complete Five Guys gluten free menu.

Five Guys is well-known for their burgers, hot dogs, and fries but unfortunately, they do not offer a gluten free burger bun. So honestly, your only option is to either bring your own bun or order our burger wrapped in lettuce.

But thankfully, since their french fries are cooked in separate fryers, they are gluten free.

My question is this-do these restaraunts have a dedicated area, with workers who are aware of being careful of cross contamination. If someone is Celiac this is so important. For those who just want a GF diet it is ok. Places like Subway cross contaminate so bad that Celiac and gluten intolerant people can not eat there. Good of you to put this together. Hope it goes well.

If they fry chicken or anything with breaking the fried wouldn’t be gluten free…

Hey Hayley, actually Five Guys only use the fryers for their french fries. And they don’t have any chicken on their menu I believe (unless the ones by my home are just different lol)

I don’t understand how 5 guys has gf fries – they don’t have a dedicated/deprecate fryer for gf foods – don’t they sell onion rings????

They never ever sold onion rings. It is a dedicated fryer. Just fries.

See you have packaged gluten free flour. Why not offer the gluten free bun on your menu?

Is the seasoning (Cajun) for the fries also GF, at Five Guys? I know a lot of Cajun seasoning is not. Just asking. I would love it!
    Thanks!

Sadly, I was just at a Five Guys and watched as one of their cook staff touched the buns, then she used the same gloved hands to handle the uncooked fries, burgers, condiments. This is definite cross contamination and as one with Celiac disease, I can’t eat anything there even though they do have designated fryers. Yes, I told them when ordering, and yes, I even brought it to the employee’s attention. And yes, I called their corporate office. Don’t go to 5 Guys if you have Celiac disease.

I have been to Five Guys (multiple locations) many times over the last 6 months since my daughter was diagnosed with Celiac. This is one restaurant I feel pretty good about since they actually make your meal in front of you. You have to tell the manager about the Celiac. I usually mention changing the gloves just to be sure. They have all changed their gloves when handling my daughter’s burger. They also bag the fries in it’s own bag so it’s not in the bag with all the buns. I typically stand near the counter & watch.

I eat at Five Guys all the time. I have Celiac Disease and tell them at register. They are great about changing gloves and don’t use any utencils used on other items.

I have eaten successfully at Five Guys numerous times. I inform them of my allergy, they call back to the eyelets to change their gloves. I am 100% comfortable and confident when ordering there. The fryers are only for fries; they don’t even have any breaded items in the house…and yes, the cajun seasoning for the fries is gluten free…I checked this myself by asking the cashier if she minded letting me read the original container it came in. She was graciously accommodating. in in three house

I’m sitting in 5 Guys right now. Won’t know till tomorrow if I’ve managed to avoid all gluten. Must say that I’ve had many bunless burgers but this was by far the best tasting, juiciest one yet! Love 5 Guys!

Here’s my thing, i like my burgers without a bun, but the one time i went there and ordered it that way with some cheese, it was a disaster. They wrap all their burgers in paper/foil to-go. My burger was stuck to the wrapper. Ever since that happened, i refuse to go back. No plates are available.

I always get it in a bowl. No problem. Eat there about once a week and have always been given my burger sans bun in a bowl.

We JUST left a 5 Guys a few hours ago, an ordered a burger, sans bun and they placed it in a container with foil OVER it, not wrapped around it…it was neat and easy to eat with the provided fork and knife. No issues.

When I asked, my Five Guys offered to either wrap my burger or dog in lettuce or put in a bowl for me to eat. Everyone also offered to change gloves (if was allergy). Just an FYI☺️

Probably one of the only burger joints (that aren’t dedicated gluten free – I live in NY, it’s a thing) that I haven’t had issue with yet. They always change the gloves and I always request a lettuce wrapped burger. Also, the fries are fantastic.

A burger or a sandwich without a bun is NOT a burger or sandwich! If Chick-fil-A can give you a gluten free bun, why can’t other places. I’ve only discovered my gluten allergy recently so it is beyond frustrating to go someplace and be told “Our sandwiches are gluten free if you don’t order it on bread.” Well then, pray tell how it’s a sandwich? It’s just a pile of meat and veggies on a plate!

A gluten free bun is not a substitute for clean and safe preparation. I have been to a place that offered a gluten free bun and I was sick within 30 minutes. When you have a bun arrive on your burger, how for you know it is the gluten free bun and not a regular one? No bun and you are safe. Just my opinion.

I have had numerous safe meals at Five Guys. I ask for the lettuce wrapped burger, the ask if that is a preference or for s medical reason, and they inform the cooks so they make it safe. In fact, my first trip there the girl taking my order said she was diagnosed with Celiac 10 years earlier and would make sure it was safe. Dedicated fryers for the fries, they change gloves, etc. I have never had symptoms after esteat there. There are some locations that may have less careful employees, but the one I visit is always great.
